Dear Mr. Gonzalez: RE: Otis Bradbury and Dan Bellar My husband and I just recently traded for a used vehicle from your dealership, a 2006 Buick Lucerne. We were so impressed with the two individuals that helped us with this transaction that we wanted to bring it to your attention. Mr. Bradbury was our initial contact first via the Internet responding quickly and forthright to my questions, which brought us to Chaparral in Johnson City. We live in Bristol and have dealt with a local dealer for many years and were averse to going in a different direction. However, after meeting and getting what we felt the best deal for us, the move was inevitable and we are pleased we did. Further, Mr. Dan Bellar, sales manager, was also so pleasant and helpful when we did make our decision to trade. Both gentlemen stayed very late the Thursday evening we made our decision to complete the paperwork in order to get my signature so that I would not have to drive back to Johnson City the following day, knowing I worked in Bristol. My husband was then able to pick up vehicle the next day. We look forward to oil changes and dealings with Chaparral in the future. Dear Mr. Gonzalez, I want to thank you for making my car buying a good experience. After thirteen years of driving the same car I found myself car shopping because my engine blew up. It was just after the Christmas holiday, the weather was terrible and I dreaded having to go out into the cold and deal with a car salesman! I called your son, Freddie, Jr., and he told me what to do. I went to your dealership and looked around on a freezing cold day. Ed came out to help me and was very kind and patient as I went from one car to the other asking a hundred questions. After much deliberation, and many phone calls to Freddie, Jr., I decided on a car that I liked but didn't think that I could afford. Ed let me drive it home for the weekend and of course I fell in love with the car. On Monday, which was a holiday, Ed called to let me know that we would have to wait until the next day to complete the sale. Absolutely no pressure what so ever! I have never experienced this with a car dealer before. I returned on Tuesday and Barry went over the financing with us. I couldn't believe what a nice group of people you have working for you. They made it so easy. I am especially fond of Pepper and Daisy! They kept me company while we made the deal. I have told all of my friends and family what a joy it was working with you all.
